The Fresno State Bulldogs and the Boise State Broncos meet Friday in college basketball action from Taco Bell Arena.

Fresno State enters this one at 5-6 so far. The Bulldogs have lost three straight games. As for Boise State, they’re 13-1 this season. This will be a rematch of Wednesday’s game featuring these teams. In that one, Boise State pulled off a 22-point win. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Fresno State opened up their year with a pair of wins before losing three straight to Colorado State and Wyoming to bring them to 2-3. The Bulldogs got hot with wins over Wyoming and San Jose State in their next three games, but since have lost three to Nevada and Boise State.

In the Wednesday loss to Boise State 73-51, Fresno State’s Orlando Robinson was the only player in double-figures with 17 points, nine rebounds and one assist. Jordan Campbell chipped in seven points with six rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes as well.

Boise State Oklahoma Bowl Game

Over on the Boise State side, they began their season with a loss to Houston, but since have rattled off 13 straight wins. Those have come courtesy of Sam Houston State, College of Idaho, BYU, Weber State, New Mexico, San Jose State, Air Force, Wyoming and Fresno State.
In Wednesdays’ win over the Bulldogs, Boise State’s Derrick Alston led the way on 21 points with four rebounds and four assists. Marcus Shaver added 17 points with six boards and two assists, and Abu Kigab had 15 points with 11 rebounds and three assists.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 overall. Fresno State is 1-5 ATS in their last six after a straight-up loss and the under is 5-1 in their last six overall.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Boise State here. The Broncos got off to a bad start in the Wednesday game and were even trailing 30-28 at halftime. Boise State shot just 38.8 percent from the floor, but muscled away 42 rebounds to the Bulldogs’ 32. The Broncos also took care of the ball well with just eight turnovers and 12 assists on the game. If Boise State gets going like they’re capable of I don’t see Fresno State keeping up.
