Cam Newton completed 19-of-25 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 42-28, Week 9 win over the Bucs, adding 10 carries for 34 additional yards. A dominant real-life performance did not quite translate to fantasy as Newton lost yardage to Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore trick/motion plays. The Panthers were also content to let Christian McCaffrey do work at the goal line. Newton did have a rushing score, but it got called back by an illegal motion penalty. Cooking with gas for a while now, Newton gets the Steelers' improving defense on Thursday Night Football for Week 10.

Norv Turner has Cam Newton playing some of the best football of his career (save for his MVP season, of course) and the Steelers’ offense is firing on all cylinders right now. Pittsburgh’s defense has played better of late but lack of speed is still a problem and while Carolina’s defense is also solid, the unit is still allowing 22.5 points per game this year. I don’t see either offense being stopped on Thursday night.
