Odds of Winning

2020

Unlike most wide-area progressives where you can only guess the odds of hitting the jackpot, the Easy Money Jackpot’s odds can be determined fairly easily. That’s because it’s played on Class II slots which are based on bingo. All the bingo patterns and corresponding prizes are readily available on the machine’s payout screens.

To win the Easy Money Jackpot, you must get the hot dog pattern in 17 balls drawn. Here’s what that looks like on the bingo card:

Since the middle space is free, that means you have to match the corresponding 10 spaces (at a minimum) on your bingo card within 17 balls drawn to win the progressive jackpot.

The odds of doing that on a spin are 0.0000000235, or about 1 in 42.6 million.

VGT estimates once the number of machines playing for the jackpot hits 1,000, the jackpot will hit about once a month.

Hitting the Big One

Numerous people have won the Easy Money Jackpot since its introduction in July, 2015. The largest winner as of this writing won a whopping $940k on a Reel Fever game at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Like most WAPs, the Easy Money Jackpot is paid as an annuity over 20 years. Winners can elect to take a discounted lump sum, just like the lottery.
